    Issue with getting code for PIN reset


    My laptop says multiple times that a code has been sent to my email but when I check there, there is literally nothing in junk in spam etc. Yes, I’ve checked the email properly, yes I can get in the right outlook email. It’s really not there

    Thanks for your answer.

    I tried steps of both links:

    • #1: reset PIN code
      • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    • #2: change or reset windows password
      • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
      • I am using a local account
    If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

    Resetting PIN on Windows 10 Issues

    I am getting a message at start up in the login screen saying I've tried several times to login with the wrong PIN. Even thought I haven't done a thing yet. It also looks like I have two accounts listed in the lower left corner. I can login using my Microsoft
    password but, why can I no longer use the PIN step instead? Can I reset my PIN?
