Windows 10: Issue with HP BS 180 tx Laptop Touchpad driver

Dear sir ,I have recently upgrade from Windows 10 to windows 11 after installing ssd to my Old laptop Model HP BS 180 TX. This is not my regular laptop as i have another one from my office. Now issue is some time keyboard is not working properly like if i am pressing M letter while typing i need to press it 3 times and then it is type. After 2-3 hours it happen to other random key. Also touchpad is not smooth as two finger scrolling is laggy and some time it stop accidently.so i decided to update synaptic touchpad driver and it help me 50% as keyboard work fine but touchpad is still laggy and

If you mean the precision touchpad settings I mentioned how I got them to appear. I guess you didn't try that. You have multiple possible solutions above- at least 1 should work for you. You just have to work thru logically and carefully, and remember to consult the Tutorials section here. This is relatively easy for most PCs but some seem to have fewer options, and these differ. There are many touchpad types and different drivers. Options vary. Here are two I referred to on this old laptop: sensitivity and palm check.



Your driver will look different and offer different options. This question has been addressed on tenforums before.

You replied to the Question Synaptics Touchpad issue on 29th July 2022 , I have the same problem, I had follow the given fix issue on step by step., It didn't solve the issue, My issue on touchpad is that if you want to scroll the page with two finger function not working, I have tried many option given by Microft. I have Winddow 10 Hp Laptop. please help further.

I understand the problem, some laptops have huge touchpads and also very badly placed, and to top it off don't allow for the touchpad to be disabled. I personally think that is because the laptop developers like touchpads a bit too much. These day, I wouldn't mind a laptop without touchpad. My best solution to this problem is: attach a keyboard and a mouse, that's also a better solution in general in my mind, as some laptop keyboards are not very good either, and with a separate keyboard you can choose out of all models what suits best. Know that you can also connect a keyboard and use the laptop keyboard at the same time.
