    Issue with KB5027215 on Windows 10 - Breaking IE Mode on MS Edge


    KB5027215 on Windows 10 is resulting in breaking the IE Mode on Microsoft Edge.Sites configured to run on IE mode on Microsoft Edge are redirecting to Internet Explorer & then Internet Explorer is getting freezed & the IE mode sites are not working/loading. Gets resolved if we uninstall KB5027215 patch & take several reboots.Around 30+ users in o

    Did You prove to do your suggestion to enable flash player on MS Edge on Windows phone 10 ?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Issue with KB5027215 on Windows 10 - Breaking IE Mode on MS Edge

    Has anyone had any issues after applying KB5027215?

    So far we have experienced:

    1. Adobe Reader 32-bit stopped working. Couldn't launch program or open any pdfs. No errors and nothing in Event Viewer Installed 64-bit version and all ok.

    2. IE Compatibility mode in Edge failing. Receiving message 'To open this page in Internet Explorer mode, try restarting Microsoft Edge.

    If I uninstall KB5027215 everything works again.

    Before you ask:

    Windows 10 22H2

    Latest version of Edge for Business

    Latest version of Adobe Reader
