    Issue with kernelbase.dll


    A few applications UWP & standard executables have crashed due to KernalBase.dll


    First started to see the issue when I got State of Decay 2, then I started seeing it in things like VMWare processes, uPlay, games from steam etc.


    Nothing in common between all the crashes but KernalBase.dll, any ideas?

    maybe it has something to do with updates\

    The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
    There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

    Do let us know the following information to understand and assist you better with this issue:

    • How have you installed Windows 10?
    • What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
    • What exactly do you mean by: "my incredimail stoped working"?
    • When exactly do you get these errors?

    As a workaround, I suggest you to install all the pending updates after upgrade to Windows 10.

    Steps:

    • Connect to the internet.
    • Press Windows key and type
      updates      .
    • Click on Check for updates.
    • Under Windows Updates, click on
      Check for updates.
    • Try to install the updates being shown.
