Windows 10: Issue with Large Icons and Display Size in Terminal Session

I was assisting a user with their issue while they were working on the terminal. When they connect to the terminal, the desktop icons appear larger, and the screen display size also looks bigger. However, when I try to adjust the settings, the user does not allow me to make changes.Additionally, I have a question—when I log into the terminal, all desktop icons appear normal to me. Could this issue be specific to the user's desktop settings?How can I resolve this issue?

I have a PC, not a tablet.

The ratio 24/16 = 1.5

By the way, there is only two positions: 100 % (the default value) and 125 %.

Large Icon looks OK, but blurry.

In Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display there is a custom scaling level (not recommended). There are also 100%, 125% and so on. If I set 125% (it takes to sign out to take effect), the icons looks too huge:

System Large Icon Size: 40x40

System Small Icon Size: 20x20

The ratio = 40/20 = 2

It's not a linear ratio, that's the problem.

• Type Display settings in the search box beside Windows icon at the lower left side part of your screen.
• Click Enter.
• Under Customized your display, adjust the Change the size of text, apps, and other items: 100%(Recommended).

• Which build version of Windows 10 is on your computer? To check, click
  Start, type winver, and press Enter. For example, 14393.1066.
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

As initial recommendation, we suggest following these steps to change the icon size:

• Right-click on an empty space on your desktop.
• Select View.
• Choose Medium icons or Small icons, whichever you prefer more.
  

Additionally, you can change the display size of texts and other items by following these steps:

• Right-click on an empty space on your desktop.
• Click Display settings.
• Under Change the size of text, apps, and other items, drag the slider over to 100%.
  
• If the slider is already on 100%, click Advanced display settings.
• Under Resolution, choose the Recommended option from the drop-down choices.
