Windows 10: Issue With Microsoft Photos App Not Scrolling Right & Left Correctly...

For the quick fix, see RED highlight below in bold font...Since Microsoft refuses to fix this known issue with the Microsoft Photos app not scrolling to the left or right in the proper order by date this affects the older app version AND still happening with their latest version "Photos Legacy" running Windows 11 even! - GEESH! AND......after going in circles for the last few days, speaking with Dropbox Support still wonder if they have something to do with this since they can be enabled to take over screenshots and then speaking with Microsoft Support who had me perform an INPLACE UPGRAD

Hi, should work...does for me. Have you tried uninstalling, reinstalling Photos?

Presumably scrolling works elsewhere.

A couple of other people have reported this issue here- unresolved.

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to change the Default apps in the setting app and verify the result. You may follow the steps in the below:

• Go to settings and system.
  
• Click on Default Apps and select the appropriately.
  

Method 2:

I suggest you to reinstall Photo app using the PowerShell command
and reinstall using the Windows store. Follow the below steps.

• Open the　Start　menu, type　Windows PowerShell　in the search bar.
  
• Right click on the　Windows　PowerShell　and select　Run as　administrator.
  
• Enter the below command to uninstall the Photo app.
  

• 　　get-appxpackage　　*Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage
