Windows 10: Issue with network icon showing no connectivity, even though there is!

Hi all,

I've been browsing around looking for any solutions to this issue but haven't found anything concrete. Even pre-2004 update, one of my (and now two) users are having an issue where it looks like there is no network connection in the system tray, yet they still have full connectivity. This ends up breaking O365 apps because it looks like they just check if there's a network connection showing up, and if there isn't one, they won't even try to connect. Our only temporary solution seems to be to disable and re-enable the network adapter or do a full on reboot. The issue is really sporadic and only happens a few times a day so there's no way to reliably test any fix so far.

I've checked several things:

1) That HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet\EnableActiveProbing is set to 1 (have even had users set to 0, reboot, and then back to 1 and reboot)

2) Disabled IPv6 on the network adapter

3) Updated NIC drivers (both through Intel and via device manager)

4) Even upgraded the initial user having issues from 1909 to 2004

5) Performing a network reset when running network troubleshooter

Looking forward to any ideas anyone may have before I rip my hair out!

Network connection icon problem

Hi all,
Few days ago (since I have switched to Nvidia - I don't know is there any connection between them or not) I have a problem with the network connection icon. After the OS loads in, the icon is still loading about for a minute. When I open Chrome the internet connection is perfect, only the icon shows it's loading. It wouldn't be such a problem, but certain programs (for example GPU-Z) doesn't open until the icon stops loading.
What could be the problem, and how can I solve this? I have already uninstalled / reinstalled the network driver. Nothing has changed.
