Windows 10: issue with Notepad Functionality - Seeking Assistance

Dear Microsoft Support, I hope this message finds you well. I am currently experiencing difficulties with the Notepad application on my Windows HP operating system. The program does not seem to be functioning properly, and I am encountering some embedded code is running in back ground . I have attempted mention any troubleshooting steps you've already taken to resolve the problem, but unfortunately, the issue persists. As Notepad is an essential tool for my day-to-day tasks, I am eager to find a solution as soon as possible. Could you please provide guidance or assistance in troubleshooting

Notepad getting stuck

I understand that your notepad is not functioning properly after you have accidentally opened a notepad file. Please restart your device and see if the notepad is working again.

If you still have the same, I suggest repairing your Notepad app. Follow the steps below.

Press Win logo key + Q to open the search box and type Notepad> right-click Notepad at the top of the result list > App settings > Repair. Then restart your device.

If the issue still persists, please follow the steps again, and this time choose reset. After resetting, please restart your device again.

Regarding to your information I assume that you have some issues on Notepad.

Did you mean that the search function can't used on the Notepad app?

This could be an issue with your app files, as you don't have any permission to make any changes. Therefore, for this problem, you can

only seek assistance from your company's IT department. If they are unable to help you resolve the issue, I suggest asking your IT

department to seek help from Microsoft Learn.

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

• Open Task Manager. Here’s a tip: press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
• Click on Startup tab.
• Select Notepad from the list and click on Disable.
