Windows 10: Issue with the Microsoft JET Database Engine after the 24H2 Update

Hi, I would like to ask if you know if Microsoft has officially recognized that after installing the 24H2 update, there have been issues with the Microsoft JET Database Engine. After installing the 24H2 update on a laptop, I experienced problems with Microsoft Jet to the point that I had to revert to the previous state and uninstall the 24H2 update. The issue occurred with two programs, SDL Trados 2022 and Multiterm 2022. Trados is a translation program that uses the Microsoft JET engine to load terminology database terms, and Multiterm 2022 is a terminology manager for creating glossaries tha

Software involving Microsoft JET Database Engine (Microsoft Access 2007 and older or non-Microsoft applications) fail in Win11

I'm using a software (ArcGIS) to deal with geospatial data. However, I got an error named "Error: Failed to connect to database. General function failure Unexpected error from external database driver". To be more specific, I think there is a connectivity problem with my excel table to the software.

According to ESRI, the provider of the software, this is caused by a Microsoft update in 2017: October 10, 2017—KB4041676 (OS Build 15063.674) - Microsoft Support

According to Microsoft, "Installing this update may cause applications based on the Microsoft JET Database Engine (Microsoft Access 2007 and older or non-Microsoft applications) to fail when creating or opening Microsoft Excel .xls files. The error message is 'Unexpected error from external database driver (1). (Microsoft JET Database Engine)'"

The software provider gave a solution to this problem for Win10: November 14, 2017—KB4048954 (OS Build 15063.726 and 15063.728) - Microsoft Support

However, I'm using Win11. I wonder if there is a way to fix this problem properly. Thank you!

Tuesday M$ released a Windows Update with a purported update for Microsoft Jet included. That broke Jet for our user base of over 250 cinemas. So if they are issuing updates for it I would suppose it is. It has worked for our customers for many years. M$
should not just willy nilly deliberately break one of their own products just to obsolete stuff for no good reason while people are using it. They should at the very least make it work in a compatibility mode.
