Windows 10: Issue with WIFI Adapter on Windows 10 Laptop

There seems to be this very peculiar issue that I face with my laptop. My laptop disconnects randomly from the wifi and this especially happens if I am playing an online game. The problem is peculiar because if this happens and I try to reconnect but I don't see any available Wifi options when I search for networks in the Wifi tab. When I open up my device manager, I don't see my Wireless Adapter. It just vanishes.


If I restart my laptop, the Wifi starts working fine again and when I open the device manager I do see my Wireless Adapter being listed again.


My laptop uses a Realtek 8822BE Wireless LAN adapter.


Another thing that I have also noticed is that my laptop doesn't disconnect when surfing the web, but it starts disconnecting if I stop charging my laptop.


I have tried updating and reinstalling the drivers for my Wireless Adapter. I have also tried modifying the power options for both my wireless adapter and my laptop always stays in the high performance mode. Windows 10 is completely updated. I have also tried resetting and repair installing Windows, but the problem still persists.


I have another Windows laptop and it works completely fine with the current Wifi setup that I have at my home. The problem is exclusive to this laptop as I have also observed similar issues when connected to other Wifi Networks.

Windows 8.1 Backup and WIFI Adapter Issue

Hi Team,



I purchased my HP laptop in Jan 2016 with pre-installed Windows 8.1, 1 TB hard disk and i7 4th generation processor. Then it gets automatically upgraded to Window 10. I used Windows 10 for 1 year with no issues. But after that I faced system slowness
issues even when there was no data on my laptop.



I faced one irritating issue that after booting my laptop it was not detecting the WIFI adapter. But when I restart it 2-3 times then WIFI adapter get visible. I tried many ways like driver updates, IP reset, and all network commands but no use.



Then I rolled back my Window to older version i.e. Windows 8.1. Then my system was behaving correctly for few months. But again, it is showing the same WIFI adapter issue.



Now Can you please guide me on below two things:

1) I have original Window 10 CD which I want to install on this laptop from scratch. But before that I want to make backup/bootable external device of my Windows 8.1 to use it on another laptop or on the same laptop in
future.

Please guide me the steps to keep bootable device and keep backup of my original Window.

2) Can I get any troubleshooting steps to resolve my WIFI adapter problem on Window 8.1?



I will appreciate any other valuable suggestion.

Wifi adapter disappears - goes 'hidden'


Running Windows 10 on an Acer laptop. Over the past month, the wifi connection dropped without explanation/warning.

First time, the adapter was visible in Device Manager (with a yellow triangle next to it). An interent search found the suggestion to uninstall it and restart. That worked.

Today, the connection dropped again. In Device Manager at first I could not see the wifi adapter listed. I clicked to see hidden devices and found the adapter and the Bluetooth (which I had not noticed was missing).

I again uninstalled, restarted, and both the wifi and bluetooth have returned.

Anyone any ideas as to what is happening, why it's happening, and what I need to do, please?

I have attached a screenshot of the DM windows as it is now, showing the wifi adapter name, etc.
