    Issue with Windows 10 startup time - Multiple PCs/Laptops


    Having an issue with multiple home laptops/PCs dealing with a slow boot time and takes 20+ mins to get to the login screen. Just leaves the user with a spinning circle and "Please wait" message screenshot attached. Only started happening within the last week. Happening on brand new laptops that have only been issued and older ones that have been used for 2+ years. All are on our domain but it's only devices used by staff at home/outside of the office that are experiencing issues.Currently going through all troubleshooting steps, just wondering if anyone has experienced anything recently that

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
