Windows 10: Issue with Windows Activation Error 0x803fa067 and with the Microsoft Agent

Hello,I’m experiencing an issue with activating my Windows license, receiving the error code 0x803fa067, which states that I don’t have a valid product key or license. However, I’ve reinstalled Windows twice on different hard drives without any problems. I haven’t changed my motherboard to avoid activation issues, even though I could have upgraded my hardware. I only changed the CPU, which is supposed to be fine according to the guidelines, and try to install in a new NVMe.I contacted a support agent via the “Get Help” menu, who asked for my key and told me it was a Windows 7 Pro license. Activation/Upgrade Error 0x803fa067

I tried to Updgrade my windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro.
I tried it with the default key that upgrades Windows 10 to pro without activating it(which is done in the second step).

The Universal-Key for Windows 10 Pro which is published by Microsoft is VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T. I tried that one but I get the error 0x803fa067.

I first tried it with the Windows 10 Settings using the Change Product Key Button in the Activation "Tab" And second with the command slmgr.vbs -ipk VK7JG-...
Both methods werent succesfull.

What the error originally means is: you don't have a digital licence or a valid Product Key.
I guess either the newly bought laptop was delivered with a fraudulent license( then microsoft is bluntly lying to me)





or the error message isn't quite correct. In this case I would go with my second guess

I am not sure why this Problem occures, so my question is: why do I get the Error 0x803fa067?
I am aware of the fact that I could reinstall Windows 10 Pro(which is the way I will probably do it) but I am intrigued to know how I could resolve the Problem without spending those extra 15 minutes.

 

Error code 0x803fa067 Windows 11 activation

Hi, i got a new laptop with an original copy of windows 11 but it's not activated. I don't have the original key available because windows 11 should be activated with the device, however this is not true. I contacted ASUS where the laptop is from and they told me to contact microsoft, i have been trying to contact microsoft support over the past 2 months and all my filed tickets are cancelled without a call back from an agent.

Activation error 0x803fa067

Unfortunately it didn't work and I got the same error (0x803fa067). I definitely have Microsoft Windows 10 Pro OEM CD KEY but I'm guessing that graphics card might be the cause of the problem (although from the prompts I'm getting this should only happen after motherboard being replaced).
