Windows 10: Issue With Windows Security Notifications Not Showing on Windows 11

Hi everyone,I'm experiencing an issue on my Windows 11 laptop where the Windows Security notifications aren't showing up in the Action Center. I've double-checked that notifications are turned on in Settings, and Windows Security is enabled and running.I run a small UK-based e-commerce site called The Fancy Dress, so it's important I catch all system alerts—especially security-related ones. Has anyone else faced this issue? Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks in advance!

I appreciate the steps that you have done. I suggest you please follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• 
  Type notification on the search bar and click on
  notification & action settings.
  
• 
  And click on select which icons appear on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Turn on show app notification separately for each app.

Action Center is not showing past notifications

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps:

Steps:

• Press Windows key and type
  Settings.
• Click on Settings, System
  and on Notifications and actions.
• Click on Select which icons appears on the taskbar.
• Turn on Always show all icons in notification area.

New Windows Media Player Plugin for Firefox

Anyone who uses Windows Vista and Mozilla Firefox may be pleased to hear that the Windows Media Player team has now released a plugin for Firefox that should allow the browser to play WMP content on websites. Here are the steps to get it working:

• Installation of the Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin may require administrative access to your PC. It is recommended that you close all other open browser windows before continuing with the installation.
• Click the Install button to automatically download and install the Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin.
• Depending on your security settings, you may see a Security Warning dialog box. Click Install to install the plugin.

There is a known issue if you are using Firefox version 2.0.0.3 on Windows Vista with the installer failing with error code -203. To work around this simply restart Firefox (you will get a notification that Windows Vista will be changing the Firefox compatibility settings) and then install again - the second time should succeed.

The download is available here, and the new plugin works on all versions of Windows XP and Windows Vista (although it is mostly intended for Vista, as that currently has no WMP support in Firefox).
