Windows 10: Issue with Windows Update not Completing an Update

I have tried multiple times to get the 2024-01 Cummulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64 based systems KB 5034123 to complete, but it always fails at 36%. I have followed some of the troubleshooting steps given in this forum for others having this same issue but have not been able to resolve this issue. My OS build is 22621.2428.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.
