Windows 10: Issues caused by TaskBar configuration via xml

Hi All, We planned to pin an application shortcut A to all of our computers' taskbars. We deployed the xml below using the Intune configuration profile. As per Microsoft documentation, this XML shouldn't delete any user-pinned apps. After the deployment, a lot of users complained that their start layout shortcuts were deleted when the new shortcut appeared in the taskbar. Their taskbar shortcuts were not removed. In the event that a user tries to pin any other shortcut B in the start layout, the configuration we created will be deleted, and the added shortcut A will be deleted. Then the config

Taskbar Issue with Multiple Monitors

• Are you using a Local Account or a Microsoft Account?
• What is the make and model of your PC?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
• Check if the option for Lock the Taskbar and Auto-hide the taskbar
  are ticked.
• If they are ticked then uncheck the option for Auto-hide the taskbar.

Also, suggest you to update the Display driver by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

Taskbar disable, key command to activate

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps. I would suggest you to auto hide the taskbar. Follow the below steps.

• 
  Right click on the taskbar and select properties.
  
• Check on the box Auto-hide taskbar, click on Apply and click on
  OK.
