Windows 10: Issues connecting Joy Con to new Win10 PC with Bluetooth

Recently I purchased a new PC to succeed my old work laptop, both of which ran Windows 10. The new PC seems to be working very well, all except for one very troubling issue. When adding a Joy Con through Bluetooth, the device works as intended until the connection is interrupted, such as turning Bluetooth off or putting the computer to sleep. On my laptop, this isn't an issue, as pressing any of the Joy Con's face buttons provided Bluetooth was turned back on would reconnect the controller to the computer, but on my new PC the Joy Con will not automatically reconnect, requiring me to go into

Issue with connecting bluetooth mouse after most recent update

Hardware and Device troubleshooter. This tool will check for software related issues and help to connect the hardware to the PC correctly. To run this tool, follow the steps below:

• Type troubleshooting in the Search bar.
• Click on Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instruction.

No sound as PC is connected to a bluetooth device.

As per your description, I understand that there is no sound in your PC as it shows that it is currently connected to a Bluetooth device which you do not recognize.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

1. Have you connected your PC to Bluetooth speakers?

2. Do you recognize the device that is connected to your PC?

3. Does the Bluetooth device display under Control Panel > Devices and Printers?



For now, I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if you will be able to remove the device in question.

To remove the device from your PC, follow the steps below

• Select Start > Settings > Devices >
  Bluetooth.
• Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to remove > Remove device >
  Yes.

Can’t connect Xbox one controller to pc

Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.
