Windows 10: Issues detecting external monitors with Dell Docking Station on windows 11 Laptop

Hi Team, I am having issue with windows 11 and dell docking station. I have updated the windows and install all the firmware recommended from dell support for the docking station, but still docking station is not detecting the external monitors and not charging the laptop. On the other hand mouse and Ethernet port is working fine on docking station. The laptop is Dell i5 Vostro 15 3530 and docking station is Dell Thunderbolt Dock - WD19TB.I have disconnected power from the dock and press the power button for 30 seconds to drain the battery and then turn on the docking station after 3 lights

Windows 11 HP laptop not detecting external monitor using J5 docking station. Changed hdmi cable and replaced docking station. Will not display on HP external monitor.

 

Dual Monitors with Docking Station

Hello-

I have a Dell laptop that i use open with 2 external monitors. 1 monitor is plugged in via HDMI directly to the laptop, the other monitor is plugged in via HDMI to my external docking station. All 3 montiors worked fine until yesterday when my IT dept got into my computer to fix an unrelated issue. Since then my docking station monitor will no longer work, but all other docking station components are working fine.

When i go into Display, all 3 monitors are detected, but the docking station monitor appears as a small screen on the Display board, yet the actual monitor itself is black. When I try to get it to connect it is No HDMI signal for device.

how do I get this docking station monitor to work again? It worked fine for months before this. I did plug this monitor into my personal laptop and it works fine so the monitor or cable is not the issue.

Thoughts?

 

Windows Powershell- Detect Docking Stations and attached monitors


I am trying to write a script to detect all docking stations and monitors attached to those docking station for Lenovo Thinkpad t540p laptops on a domain network. Most of the monitors are Asus. Any suggestions or is this even possible? Running powershell from DEV WIN 10
