Windows 10: Issues I got after Updating to Windows 11 Insider Preview 22598.1 ni_release

1. After downloading the update I restarted my PC to complete the update. but i got an green screen error in between installing the update. The error was 'machine check exception' it said on the green screen that "Your PC ran into a problem and need to restart. well' restart for you".There was no completion percentage going up. so, i waited for 20 - 30 mins but it stuck on that green screen and then i had to long press pc power button to shut it down. then I started the PC and then the update process begins again and successfully ends and i got to my desktop. 2. but soon after, i hit the w

Your Phone on Insider Preview

1. Which version of Insider build you have installed?
   
2. Are you missing Phone screen (in preview) and
   Notifications (in preview) options from the app?
   

If yes, I would suggest you to follow the methods mentioned below to fix the issue.



Method 1

Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store

Refer the article Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store
for the steps.

Note: Ignore the option of performing Reset, since you’ve already tried.



Method 2

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to Uninstall Your Phone through commands on Windows 10. To do so.

1. Open Powershell as an administrator.
   
2. Copy-paste the following command:
   
   Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.YourPhone* -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage
   
3. Hit the Enter key, so that the app will be removed.
   
4. Restart the device once.
   
5. Login to Microsoft Store to re-install
   Your Phone app and check the status of the issue.
