Windows 10: Issues installing Windows 10/11 Media driver your computer needs is missing

I've been trying to install all sorts of different windows versions in all sorts of crazy ways to try to get around this one error. tiny11, tiny11 compatibility, tiny10, win10"A Media driver your computer needs is missing... Could be a DVD, USB, or Hard Disk driver"The Installation environment detects all my drives and partitions fine, including the target drive.I have tried patching the drive through directly to a VM and installing through that, which got around the problem but I am not smart enough to fix all the boot records into GRUB.

Windows 11 installation issue Hello, I am running into a lot of issues trying to install from a bootable usb, regarding the error message where you need to install media drivers. I've had similar issues in the past and fixed them (related to the VMD drivers for 11th gen intel cards), but it's never been this impossible to solve.

Steps to reproduce

1. Boot bootable windows 11 installation process from the official bootable file found on microsofts website
   
2. Carry on with the installation process until you're faced with the error message "a media driver your computer needs is missing"
   

Now, from my previous experience installing windows, I've had to also install the intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers; and so

3. Attempt to re-install the proper VMD, and non-VMD drivers from https://www.intel.com/content/www/u...ptane-memory-10th-and-11th-gen-platforms.html

4. Launch the drivers, now I've tried all variations of the extracted drivers from intels website, still nothing works. I get the same errors

This has always worked in in the past, but I can not for the life of me figure out why I get this issue now

• Error message repeats, and says that no missing drivers were found

Things I have already tried

• Put the driver files on the same usb as the bootable disk
  
• Attempted the same process both for intel's drivers on the 10-11th gen cards and the iRST drivers for 11th gen and up cards.
  
• Disable VMD functionality in bios, disabled secure boot vice-versa.
  

Specs Model no: ZenBook UX325EA_UX325EA CPU: 11th Gen Intel i7-1165G7 (8) @ 4. GPU: Intel TigerLake-LP GT2 [Iris Xe G]

Windows 11 install fails saying "A media driver your computer needs is missing."

Hello. Rufus/Ventoy is a 3-rd party tool there are known Issues with using Rufus/Ventoy. I would suggest using media creation tool and installing Windows 10 first. Once Windows 10 is installed then you can try using the Windows 11 installer to install Windows 11 if the computer passes the Windows 11 installer requirements. A computer sometimes needs to be slowly upgraded. Once Windows 10 is installed I am sure you can install any/ all drivers then try to install Windows 11
