Windows 10: issues installing Windows 10 on new system

Hi everybody,

I've just upgraded my i5 7500 system with a AMD 3700x paired with MSI B450M Mortar Max motherboard.
It all seems to run fine in the bios. I've updated it to the latest bios also. CPU is running roughly 27 degrees.

My issue lays when I'm trying to install Windows 10. I would boot it off the USB, load up the Windows logo for a split second then reboots the whole system. I used Windows USB tool and Rufus to make the bootable USB I thought it was a corrupted install. I've also tried another USB nothing seems to work.

If there are any suggestions please let me know

It's good that you're not experiencing any issues. Unfortunately many folks are, a quick Google search will show the same info im offering the OP.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
