    Issues Recognizing Controller


    I've tried deleting drivers, cleaning my usbc ports, using a newer controller with a stable usbc port, all to no avail. keeps giving me an unknown usb device error. even though it is still charging. I've done diagnostics/troubleshooting. I've went into the control panel to disable my usb ports from turning off, which helped only temporarily but did resolve the issue. usb-c cord doesn't change anything. I've tried deleting the controller drivers but it's impossible to tell which is what with all the things I have plugged up along with the fact the controllers won't even register as anything but

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    As the Xbox 360 controller is not getting recognized in the Windows 10 computer, I suggest you to follow the methods provided below and check if it helps.

    Method 1: Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

    • Type troubleshooting in the Search box and press Enter.
    • Click on View All in the left navigation pane.
    • Click on Hardware and Devices and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.
