  1. Issues Setting Up Edge Kiosk Browser In Windows 11 via Intune

My organization wants to deploy Kiosk computers that will be available to the public in our waiting rooms, but since the public will be using these computers, we ideally want to use a Kiosk profile so that they are basically only able to browse the web. That being said, we have been able to successfully accomplish this in the past when we were mainly still using Windows 10, but now we have moved completely to Windows 11 for security reasons, mostly because our organization needs to be HIPAA compliant and my supervisor is very intent on staying with Windows 11. Previously, we have been able to

  2. Disable Microsft Edge InPrivate browser in Kiosk Mode

Thank you for your response Joseph, but the issue is that Kiosk mode by default runs edge InPrivate mode, those fixes are to disable users from running a tab InPrivate mode.

And because Windows is forcing me to use Edge and I can't add another browser I'm stuck trying to figure it out how to use a Kiosk with Edge without having to deal with InPrivate.

We don't use Azure here so I can't set a multi-app Kiosk using Intune. And I understand that you want your kiosk to be secured and anyone can walk to it and touch things but the fact that is forcing me to use InPrivate without a question or a way to disable
    it is really annoying.

If you know someone with more expertise in Kiosk mode that would be great,

    Thank you!

  4. Issues Setting Up Edge Kiosk Browser In Windows 11 via Intune

Problem with windows 11 kiosk mode three and four finger gestures.

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

I understand the problems you're experiencing with Windows 11 kiosk mode. Your issue seems to be a combination of a gesture handling known issue and the limitations of kiosk mode settings.

However, here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 system is up-to-date. Microsoft regularly releases updates to fix known issues and improve system stability.
    2. Reset Kiosk Mode: Try resetting the kiosk mode setup. Remove the kiosk account, restart the system, and set up the kiosk mode again.
    3. Try Another Kiosk App: If possible, try using another application in kiosk mode to see if the issue is specific to Microsoft Edge.
    4. Driver Updates: Ensure that your touchpad drivers are up-to-date. You can do this through the Device Manager.
If you're still experiencing the problem after trying these steps, it might be best to report the issue directly to Microsoft.

Microsoft attaches great importance to user experience, you can submit your ideas and suggestions through the Feedback Hub, and the development team will regularly review submissions for ideas or fixes.

Please share the feedback link here after submitting as it will allow others on the forum to vote for your submission, including me. More votes will lead to more visibility and higher priority to the development team.
