Windows 10: Issues syncing Calendar with caldav (nextcloud)

    I have a nextcloud server, which can handle pretty much everything I'd want from the cloud, but the windows 10 calendar app does not like to play nice with it for some reason and I'd like to figure out how to solve this...

    To link my nextcloud account to the calendar app, I needed to add my account as an icloud account and then change the server. Well whatever as long as it works. So I did that, all my events load fine, I can edit them and delete them. No problemo. But when I go to create a new event it just won't sync for some reason, this happens both on my pc and my laptop. It's not a problem with nextcloud, because my phone and linux installations work perfectly.

    Even weirder is that my contacts work just like they are supposed to. I can create a new contact on my pc and they upload to nextcloud immediately.

    Soo what gives? Why does everything work, apart from creating new events in the windows 10 calendar app?
