    Issues upgrading to windows 10 - error code: 80244019


    I'm running 8.1. I got the prompt that the download for Windows 10 has started. When I click the "View download progress" button in the "Get Windows 10" window, it brings me to the "Windows Update" window where it starts checking for new updates but it always fails with error code: 80244019

    Any ideas why?

    Windows 7 to 10 Upgrade failure

    Failed installation when attempting Upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

    Error Code C1900101-40017 resulting in Failed Update 80244019.

    Any suggestions?

    Windows 10 Upgrade

    Approx 16:00 uk time got message from updates, win 10 is now ready to upgrade your computer...I proceeded and got message win 10 is downloading necessary files...After a few minutes i got a message saying there was a problem downloading with error code 80244019.

    Is this a fluke that i got with this upgrade message and what does the code 80244019 mean
