Windows 10: Issues while using headset my mic it randomly cuts out or will distort my voice

So its happening every time I am playing a game and it doesn't matter what game I'm playing because it happens at least once in every one of my sessions.I'll either be playing for awhile then all of a sudden people are telling each other to mute in the game chat they are muting me because of how my mic is the worst thing they've heard in their life they say it's a screeching sound. Or the other issue would be it just randomly stops working I can still hear fine but my mic is not working. The fix I've been repeatedly having to do is enter the games audio settings and select another audio device

USB headset mic cuts out all of a sudden

My USB Headset has been working fine for quite some time until today when I noticed that the mic all of a sudden stopped working. The headset works fine, the mic just stops working randomly. The solution is to simply replug the headset and all works well.

However, this issue has arisen after I added an RGB lighting gaming keyboard to my setup (laptop to be more specific). My laptop has 3 USB ports. One holds my mouse, one, my cooling pad, which gives an extra port into which I plugged in my keyboard. Then I plugged in my headset into the usual port. The thing is, I ran my setup for the first time like this and the mic issue has happened for the first time as well.

Now keep in mind that all of my equipment has RBG lighting (gaming stuff), and my headset is pretty hefty (7.1 surround sound, vibration, lighting). I think that the mic cut outs could be because of the keyboard drawing significant current from the USB port. But this observation could be incorrect considering the fact that the headphones still work even with the mic cut out.

Any solutions??

 

Weird issue with headset cutting out.

Since upgrading to 1803. I find sometimes my HyperX Cloud Alpha headset sound and mic will cut out on me. Since this headset isn't a USB connected device. They're are no drivers for them. I don't see anything under device manager. They are connected to my front plugs on my case. I have to physically unplug and re plug them in to work. Any suggestions on solving this. Could it be a sound driver issue? Thanks.

 

HeadSet/Mic Prob.

I am using Sp3, But My last headset randomly got feedback, so I cut it up and tried and fix it, but no luck, so I bought the Razor Barracuda headset And the headset its self has great sound but the mic has never been right, I am still debating weather to take it back or not :/ going to try my dad’s laptop tomorrow. And I understand now Speedpc *Smile
