Hi everyone,I use Amlock for basic access control on my Windows system, mainly to secure local drives and folders. After updating to the latest version of Windows 11, I’ve started experiencing issues—Amlock seems to lag or sometimes doesn’t lock drives as expected.I’m based in Melbourne and using this setup as part of a small business security solution. I know there are more advanced access control systems in Melbourne, but Amlock was working fine for my needs until now.Is anyone else facing similar issues with Amlock on Windows 11? Unable to Access Control Panel in Windows 10

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

As you are facing issue accessing the Control Panel, do let us know the following to assist you better:

• Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
• Were you able to see any error message/ error code with this issue?
• What exactly happens when you press Windows + X keys from the keyboard and click on
  Control Panel?

Step 1: I suggest you to log-out from the current user account, restart the computer, try to log-in to the same user account and check if the issue persists.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to place the computer in Safe mode, try to access Control Panel and check if the issue persists.

Issues with accessing mouse after disconnecting XBox One Controller on Windows 10

I understand the inconvenience you are facing in accessing the mouse after disconnecting the Xbox Controller on your device. We will help you in resolving this issue.

Let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error message of this issue?
• Is this issue confined only with disconnecting the Xbox?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/outdated drivers. Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter.

Step 2: Update the Touchpad drivers.

• Right click on Windows key,
  select Device Manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right click on each of the driver and click on
  Uninstall.
• Hard restart the computer as mouse doesn't work.

Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.
