Windows 10: Issues with closing programs and windows hanging in Windows 11

Just done a fresh install of Windows 10 and then updated to Windows 11.Set the TPM v2 in bios, but secure boot is disabled as I have Graphics card that is not UEFI compatible, so the bios just automatically disables CSM.Ok so the install worked and windows 11 is running. I ran the windows updates.The issues i have are:- Sometimes im browsing files in windows explorer or trying to save a file in a program using the file save dialog and then the folder just hangs, i cant see the navigation panel and cant close the folder window- Sometimes a program hangs or freezes and i can close it via task

Windows Update suddenly hangs?

Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
