Windows 10: Issues with creating WinPE disk

Hi all I am following some microsoft documentation that says to use the command Wpeutil createpagefile C:\pagefile /size=256wpeutil is not recognized

is what I get.

Here is where I found the microsoft page. Install Windows PE - Windows 10 hardware dev under install WinPE.

Any idea as to why I am getting this? I have tried navigating to the folder that has wpeutil and when I try to run it I get

Application was unable to start correctly

Ghost is a disk cloning and backup tool. In Windows, we can easily create a bootable USB with your cloned system.

• First, prepare the WinPE which we will use to capture the customized image by following the steps on this

• Boot into WinPE to capture the computer image you have customized. To do it, check out this

• Then, convert WIM file into ISO.
• Lastly, create the Bootable USB with your customized image.

Downgrading from Win 10 to Win 7 problem

Fortunately I created a system image before I did the upgrade to Win10. I booted into the WinPE disk I created a while ago, found the system image and restored it. Worked perfectly.

 

I have never made one but after reading that for 2 minuets it seem like the proper command is
Wpeutil createpagefile C:\pagefile /size=256
