Windows 10: Issues with digital activation

I installed Windows 10 in Virtual box. I purchased a HOME licence via windows once installed. Everything worked fine.I had to recreate the VM, as I had accidently installed 32 bit and not 64 bit. On reinstalling, I expected Windows to activate based on my logging in with my Microsoft account, but it has not and I am now uncertain how to activate this copy.I do have the old VM available. I extracted the licence code from the registry, but it will not work on the new VM, suggesting I have a digital key.I now simply need to add this device and activate it with my 1 registered copy of Windows 10.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Did you read Microsoft documentation? Activate Windows - Microsoft Support says:

• A digital license (called a digital entitlement in Windows 10, Version 1511) is a method of activation in Windows 10 that doesn't require you to enter a product key.
