    Issues with Duet Display?


    About 2-3 years ago, I downloaded Duet Display and for some reason, whenever I played games such as minecraft on windows, the screen just went black, and didn’t allow me to play them, and ended up having to uninstall everything from duet display. Is this still something that happens? Or is it okay to redownload and game with it now? Sorry if no one else knows

    My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

    You should check if your Firewall might be affecting Skype.

    Click Start, type allow an app

    Hit Enter

    Click Change settings

    Click Allow another app...

    Click Browse the look for the Duet display .exe

    Click Add

    Check the box under Private for it

    Click ok

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
