Windows 10: Issues with Google Drive FileStream

I'm on the Windows Insider Program, currently on build 17741 release 180814-1430.


For the last couple of updates Google Drive FileStream breaks every time an update is installed, and, much more frustratingly, every time the computer is restarted. To get it working again it has to be uninstalled, the computer restarted again, then the software reinstalled; it's getting infuriating!


Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I'm presuming Microsoft are aware of the issue since I, and others, have sent Insider Program feedback reporting the problem, but so far, nothing.

Hard drive/ OS issue

• unhooked HDD
• restarted
• yay !!
• reconnected HDD

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
