  1. Issues with Headset configuration

Hi,I have a fresh install of Win 11 , 22HJ2 , OS Build 22621.525My MBO is x670 AorusHeadsets used to test are Logitech G432 and Bose QuiteComfort in ear headpones with Mic. Headset is connected using 3.5 MM jack into Heaphones input.-Headset seems to not be recognized as Headset but as Headphones perhaps hence It only plays audio in stereo mode.-In device manager I don't see Logitech G432 but it's using driver name : Realtek HD Audio 2nd output Realtek R Audio -In realtek audio console only playback device is seen with same name as above in stereo mode. - In Control panel - Sound >>

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Issues with Headset configuration :p

Unable to Configure my gaming headset

    Hi SwiftEMP,

More information would be helpful in identifying the cause of the issue and to provide an established solution to the problem. Have you checked if the device is being detected in
Device Manager? Are you not seeing any error codes or a yellow exclamation mark? Also, are you not seeing the headset being selected as the default output device if you click on the sound icon in the taskbar?

Meanwhile, I suggest running the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to scan your computer, identify the problems, and attempt to fix the issues automatically. You may refer to the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R and type Control Panel.
    • Type troubleshooting in the search bar and click on
      Troubleshooting
      .
    • Click on Hardware and Devices.
    • Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

I hope to hear from you soon.
