Windows 10: issues with latest windows updates has rendered computer unusable after trying to uninstall...

Just installed the latest windows updates on my laptop. I couldn’t tell you exactly which ones because I didn’t pay too too much attention. Some security update and another one. I have an ASUS rog strix g18 laptop 2024 version and it totally rendered aura sync useless. This happens sometimes. It’s annoying as hell but it is what it is, usually is fixable with time and a new update or I can uninstall the update. I tried to uninstall the update but only one was able to uninstall, and it rendered my computer unusable. I cannot access the start menu at all now, it gives me an error message and has

Are you kidding me with the above answer? Why would Microsoft release the latest updates with problems that will render the audio of the computers it updates useless! UNBELIEVABLE!

 

Windows update issues

It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below methods.

Method 1

I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the display adapter driver and check. Follow the below steps:

  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate for display adapter and click on it to expand.
  
• 
  Right click on the device and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic display adapter driver.
  

If this doesn’t help to fix the issue. I suggest you to update the display adapter driver. Skip step3 from the above steps and right click on the
device and click on update.

Method 2.

If the above method did not help to fix the issue, I would suggest you to
go to the below link, select appropriate graphic model number and
download the latest graphics driver. If the graphics driver is not available for Windows 10, try installing the available driver in compatibility mode and check.
