Windows 10: Issues with MS Camera and Store, cannot access, cannot Reset/Reinstall

I've hit a wall with this situation. I cannot open either the Camera app or the MS Store app. I've tried about 30 different recommendations across this page, and online. Drivers are current, resetting/terminating the apps from settings doesn't help, tried to reinstall the Camera app via the shell, and so on. Nada.


When I attempt to open either app I get a window flash open briefly then close. Not long enough to see anything in the window, just pop.


Is there any other way to fix this issue? I'm about at the fresh reinstall windows...because all tips assume that I'm able to do things with the apps I cannot.

not getting access to MS Store

To assist your further with your concern, we'd just like to clarify the following information:

• When was the last time you are able to access Windows Store without encountering this error?
• Did you make any changes to your computer's configuration?

Let us try to reset store cache. Resetting the store cache may resolve issues like this. Refer to these steps to reset the store cache:

• Press Windows Key + R.
• Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
• Check if it takes you to a store page which displays that the cache has been reset.
• Try to open Windows Store.

download Windows camera app

Success in resetting Store; that produced a download of the Windows camera, despite seeing error message again, download proceeded. Screen shows MS app for Windows camera and indicates downloaded. (Camera now listed in app list.) But when Launch was selected,
no action after screen with camera icon. Eventually message appeared " something went wrong: here is message code if needed: 0x400F4271>MediaCaptureFailedEvent>0xC00D3704. We seem to be moving ahead a step at a time. Next suggestion?

 

window store not working

What is the error message you get when you try to access Store ,Camera, Alarm ,Calculator apps?

I suggest you to reset Windows Store cache and check. Follow the steps:

• 
  On the desktop screen, press
  Windows key and R to open run box.
  
• 
  Type WSReset.exe and hit
  Enter.
