Windows 10: Issues with Network connection

Hello I am running windows 10 on a HP Elite 8200. I have been trying for quite some time to get connected to the internet with no luck. I have tried the troubleshooting which only brings up that my intel 82579LM gigabit network is not working due to missing software. I have tried to update the software through intel which will start the process but say it was not able to download because there is no intel components founds in this computer. I have gone through and deleted the file and restarted my computer which I read will reinstall the proper file. That did not work. If I open my network folder the folder is showing empty and under network sharing everything is turned on. I am really getting ready to throw this computer out the window. I have also tried to go backwards and download the windows 7 pre installed software that was originally on the computer and it will not allow me to go back to windows 7. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH WHAT I CAN DO. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING I HAVE READ ONLINE TO TRY AND NOTHING WORKS. I NEED A SOLUTION!

Network Connectivity Issue

Hi,

The problem you've encountered with your network connection is most likely caused by an outdated network driver since this appeared after the recent update. We suggest updating the driver for your network adapter. Please follow the steps below:

• Right-click Windows key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Network adapters category.
• Right-click the one that says Ethernet Connection, then click
  Update Driver.
• Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
• If Windows is unable to find a new driver for your network adapter, try checking its manufacturer's website.

To resolve this issue, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter when you switch from WiFi to Ethernet connection. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems including clearing the network cache to obtain a new
IP from the new network. Kindly follow the steps below:

• In the search box on the taskbar, type Identify and repair network problems, and then select
  Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
• Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.
