Windows 10: Issues with Screen Mirroring Fire HD 10 Tablet to HP Elitebook x360

I recently purchased a Fire HD 10 tablet to connect to my HP Elitebook x360 laptop for screen mirroring in my vocal booth, so I don't have to bring my entire laptop with me. However, I'm having some issues. When I bluetooth connect the tablet to my laptop, they pair briefly and then quickly disconnect. I've tried restarting both devices and reconnecting them to the Wi-Fi, but I'm still encountering the same problem. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Same issue. I have a new HP Spectre 360 with windows 10... half laptop / half tablet. It will list the fire tv stick as device it is capable to connect to, however as it attempts to connect it just exits the mirroring screen. Fail.

This could be a hardware limitation. According to Amazon's support page, you can mirror your display on most phones or tablets that support Miracast. Some of these devices include:

• Android devices running Android OS 4.2 (Jelly Bean) or higher (performance may vary).
• Kindle Fire HDX 7" (3rd Generation) and Kindle Fire HDX 8.9" (3rd Generation), Fire HDX 8.9 (4th Generation), Fire HD 8 (5th Generation), and Fire HD 10 (5th Generation)
• Fire phone

Tablet Mode not working on HP Elitebook x360 1030 G2

Hi all,

I bought an HP Elitebook x360 1030 G2 running Windows 10 Pro.

The laptop works very well but Tablet mode does not work at all:

- Tablet mode does not start automatically.

If I start it manually:

- Screen does not rotate on its own

In fact the entire Option to enable or disable the Rotation Lock is greyed out.

I can rotate the screen manually through display settings.

- in addition the keyboard and touchpad does not get disabled and thus Tablet Mode is useless.

The keyboard can not be disabled manually unless I unistall it completely and if I click "disable touchpad" then the touchpad does not get disabled, and keeps working as normal.

Has anyone seen this constellation before and know how to fix it?
