    Issues with task manager after a recent update


    I can't access my task manager and also the 'security at a glance' section under updates and security is coming up empty. I tried going through the group policy editor and it didn't help as well. This all happened after a recent windows update and I have also tried uninstalling the updates. One of the updates KB4598479 won't even uninstall and the other updates keep on reinstalling themselves. Kindly help!

    Task Manager Not Working After Recent Windows 10 Update

    what a dumb answer - I cannot access task manager so how can follow the five steps listed above. Since the last windows update, the cont-alt-delete brings up the task manager (which is a blank, empty window)=but moving the cursor over it causes it to disappear
    = please help

    Task Manager not running


    I have added a new task to the ones already populated which I suppose were in Win7
    The new task or the present tasks are not running as there is no entry in the history or
    recently run file
    are there other steps necessary to get the new task manager to start up ?
