    Issues with transparency.


    I am currently running Windows 20H2 on a brand new HP Envy 15. For whatever reason, transparency effects in my os do not work. The setting is on, I have manually changed and rechanged the registry key to 1 and despite all of this, the setting refuses to work properly. Does anyone have a solution because I can't find one that isn't just "turn on the setting in the settings menu."

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    • Does the issue occur with any other application or printing the picture without importing it to any application?
    • Does the page/image display the transparent background in print preview?
    • Does the issue occur with any other image format?

    Please get back to us with answers to above questions, so that we can look into it and suggest the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

    If the issue is specific to Microsoft Office apps like PowerPoint, I would request you to re-post your question in Microsoft Answers
    Office Forum stating that the issue is specific with Office apps.
