Windows 10: Issues With Updates Windows

Hello All,


I was wondering if anyone could please help me. I am trying to Update Windows and I am continuously running in to this error:

"There were some problems installing updates, but we’ll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x80080005"

Now, I have done a lot of research in to this, I have tried doing a few fixes and nothing has helped. I have tried running the Troubleshooting for Windows Updates. I will upload the images of the results for that.

OS: Windows 10 Home 64 Bit
Version: 10.0.18362
Build: 18362

MB: Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC MS-7B45
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700k Hex Core

GPU: Gigabyte Gefore GTX 1070 Windforce OC 8gb

RAM: 16gb

SSD: Samsung 970 EvoPlus M.2 NVMe 1TB - OS is on.

SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 2.5" Sata 1TB

Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.
