Windows 10: Issues with Windows 11 and KB5031354. My computer now has Drop Shadows on DeskTop Icons....

Team : The Recent Update.Windows 11 Version 22H2 x64 -based systems KB5031354.I Un Installed the Update. Then When I ReStarted teh Computer, within 1 hour the Update Windows 11 Version 22H2 x64 -based systems KB5031354 installs again. Drop Shadows return.Microsoft, STOP publishing the Updates without Testing and Verifying ....I have spent overt 10 Clock Hours trying to find a WorkAround. and am not able to find a WorkAround.

Icon drop shadow after Windows Update

Following two Windows 11 updates, I find that my desktop icons have a very unpleasant drop shadow. I would like to remove this as soon as possible, and would welcome suggestions.

The updates that ran last night were KB5031323 and KB5031354.

 

Drop Shadows. Windows 11. DeskTop Icons.

Team : Today, all of a sudden my Windows 11 DeskTop shows DropShadows on all Desktop Icons. I have NOT changed any settings.

I also tried this Tutorial.

But no help. Can some Experts guide me to remove Drop Shadows. No matter which Solid Color I choose. There Drop Shadows are there.

Windows 11 - Desktop Icons Drop Shadow keeps coming back

Hi,

I installed Windows 11, and I disabled the drop shadow of desktop icons in Advanced / Performance dialog box. But, when I drag a window all the way to the left or to the right to tile vertically two windows, the drop shadow comes back.

How can I disable for good the shadow in the desktop icons. Other things that I do in the OS make the shadows come back. Please, fix this annoying BUG.
