Windows 10: Issues with windows apps

Specifically I am having issues getting the store to open( although other apps like calculator and calendar also do not work) When I try to open it, it immediately closes. I have scoured google and tried a bunch of different things (wsreset, reinstalling the apps through powershell, updating windows with the media creation tool) and nothing. I am trying to download the xbox application app to remap some buttons on my xbox one controller and apparently you can only get it from the microsoft store. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Mail app will not open on 10041.

Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
