Windows 10: issues with xbox controller on pc

Having an issue with my xbox controller in games on windows pc. Currently, whenever I plug the controller in, my pc recognizes the device and it seems to work. I will launch the xbox app and attempt to play a game via the cloud gaming service. Everything works fine until I move the joystick. Once I move a joystick, the computer stops recognizing any inputs and the mouse cursor appears. If I hit the home button on the controller and open the widget menu, the controller works normally, but will still not work in game. I've updated drivers, firmware, uninstalled and reinstalled. I've tried everyt

Still no fix for xbox one controller issue freezing the pc and beeping after 2 weeks!!!
