Windows 10: IT Admin error in windows defender on my personal Computer

I saw another thread, but someone suggested starting a new one. This is the error I'm getting in Windows Defender: 'Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact the IT helpdesk for more information.' Windows was working fine up until recently. A person on Facebook mentioned it might be something called a 'Rootkit,' but I used Malwarebytes to check, and it said my PC is fine. I also ran an SFC scan, and it showed no issues, so I'm not sure what to do next. I used Malewarebytes free trial but it expired today so no

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

Method 1: Make the “Windows defender Service” startup type to “Automatic”.

• Press “Windows key + R” from keyboard.
• Type “services.msc” without quotes in the “Run” Window and hit enter.
• Search for “Windows Defender Service”.
• Make “Startup Type” to “Automatic”.
• Restart the computer and then check how it works.

Method 2: Run a SFC (System File Checker) Scan by following the steps provided below.

• Right click on Start button and select “Command Prompt (Admin)”.
• Type “sfc /scannow” and press Enter.
• After the scan is complete, type “exit” and press Enter.

Also, would like to inform that if other antivirus is running in the computer, Windows Defender will be disabled.
