Windows 10: It is impossible to complete the recovery form as I have insufficient information to...

I migrated my mojang account to microsoft, and the password I used and the one which is saved to chrome did not work when I attempted to sign in. So, I filled out the recovery form, however because the account was a gift for a friend, I am not sure what name it is supposed to be under, and because it was made so recently, there was no other way to prove that it was mine, so the verification failed. I've tried contacting in many ways to recover it, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The severe lack of information provided makes it impossible to tell, but, I imagine the 'there is insufficient disk space to complete the operation' is coming from your phone, not the laptop.

Your pictures are probably stored on OneDrive, you may want to check there.

Are you referring to the error message "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API" or "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service"?

Is your User Profile relates to Microsoft account or Local account?

Follow the below mentioned steps and check if it helps.

  Open the properties of the main
  User Profile folder where the desired files or folders are located (such as Documents, Pictures, or Installation folder etc. ). You can open the properties of a particular folder by
  Right-clicking on it and select Properties from context menu.
  
• 
  Go to the Security tab and click
  Advanced.
  
• 
  Check the box at the bottom of this window. It is labeled "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object" and then click
  Ok. Reboot the PC and check if problems till occurs.
  

Do refer the
post which address the same issue and check if it helps. As the steps mentioned in the post will applies for Windows 10 too.

Note: Steps mentioned in the referred post indicates you to modify the registry values. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Make sure that
you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
