It saying I have tried to attempt to put password multiple times but I haven't had a chance to log on! The user experience on login with Microsoft has to be a worse, I generally have could login seamlessly but for some reason this morning I couldn't get in. Is there another option apart from the Authenticator to log on? Its 2024 and Microsoft hasn't made their login process seamless like most companies in this era. It is saying I attempted to log in multiple times, try again tomorrow, what time tomorrow?? I just woke up this morning and I got this message, how do I resolve this without the Aut

To which "this" are you referring?
- If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
- If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.

• Have you tried typing the password with On-Screen keyboard?

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: On-Screen Keyboard

You may use the accessibility options to pop open a on-screen keyboard and type the password from there to make sure you are typing the correct password.

If you see your email address listed there, it must be a Microsoft account. You will be able to reset the password and log in if your PC is connected to internet.

Issue with user profile. When attempting to login, I get a message saying "Your device is offline. Please sign in with the last password".

Hello everyone!

When I try to sign into my profile I get this message saying "Your device is offline. Please sign in with the last password." I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue but the message still appears. I am unable to reset the password using CMD, I have also attempted to resolve the corrupted profile issue by going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Profilelist and then changing the State from 100 to 0 as suggested from a prior article and that did not resolve the issue. I have also tried resetting the password through account.microsoft.com at least 5 times but after each reset, I keep getting the above message. I have also tried to do a system restore, but the system restore failed and it deleted itself. The next option that I had available was to go to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\IdentityCRL\StoredIdentities\ and as suggested online, it says to delete the stored profile identity.

If I attempt to delete the stored identity/profile would that wipe out the profile, would it delete any of my files or am I safe to proceed forward and delete the stored profile?
