Windows 10: It Started off with a missing taskbar

My taskbar has been missing for several days now but I really need it to reappear. I used several microsoft suggestions with no help. BTW it is a windows 11 Dell laptop. The windows logo tab and I is not functioning. There are other functions working though, well there were other functions working. I mistakenly used a surface function and now the screen keeps going on and off. I tried that function because my laptop now has a black screen for over 1 minute after the unlock screen. I did update the laptop during the process.

Here are the possible causes why Taskbar and Start menu don't work:

• Corrupted user profile
• Corrupted or missing system files
  

Since running SFC didn't resolve the issue, we suggest creating a new user account
to recreate your Taskbar and Start menu.

Volume icon missing from Taskbar
