Windows 10: It takes at least 5 minutes just to restart my computer. Any possible reason why?

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

• If you do not have an identical laptop see this post and the three replies for possible solutions: Wifi disconnects every 5 minutes.

Win 10 Creator use over 5 minute for Shutdown and Restart

Hi,

One possible reason why your computer is taking too long to shut down and restart is due to power settings. To assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

• Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?
• Have you tried booting up your computer in Safe Mode?
• Did you get any error messages when you tried those troubleshooting steps?

Any response will be highly appreciated.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
