hololens powered by the 950 and 950xl

if you understood it, you wouldn't mention hololens at all. it has nothing to do with what you are talking about.

it is not an affordable version of hololens - because it is NOT the same type of tech. you clearly do not understand the difference.

HOLOLENS is not the same type of product. do not associate VR using a phone with an augmented reality headset. they're not related at all.

  3. Wouldn't it have been a lot easier??

For Microsoft to simply offer an evaluation tool AND an interim Windows 7 installation to those who were interested in using 10 and still had XP or heaven forbid, even got stuck with VISTA on a mid 2000s computer?

You guys wanted us to upgrade to a more modern OS and a lot of us had to scrounge about to get
    7 or find used computers.

It's not like I don't have builder's versions for 7 and even actual genuine DVD...and licensing gets to be a stupid deal on a fixed income, especially when fighting the possible massive automatic cut to my benefits next year.

I put together SIX PCs for use about the house from donations, 2 were upgraded to 7, this one I'm using was OEM, and I have a decent Gateway with a Pentium dual core stuck with Vista....urgh.

My entire life is NOT given to computers, I have other fun hobbies, bikes and tube radio/stereo gear...it is not my intention to starve to fix everything anyway. However, I've used computers since 1979, Windows since 3.11 and built up my own PCs for 23 years.
I have now used every Windows version on my own computers from 3.1 to 10 with the exception of 8.x and even then I used a friend's installation when I was down.

I would spend this much money if I were MARRIED, and even then she'd have to pitch in...but at well under $800 a month that threatens to return to pre-2000 levels, I'm not insanely slavish.

If you want the world to embrace your OS fully you need to sacrifice a LITTLE...

My humble little opinion/soapbox/cry from the wilderness for Pete's sake

Rich, be I not, Rich I never wish for.

PS I am enjoying and adapting well to Windows 10, but I just got to 7 not much more than a year ago and was running 2000 Pro until I got XP about 5 or six years ago! Things take a while, even my BANK was using 2000 until a year or so back.
