    It's April 2022. Why is Windows 11 STILL not compatible with my Threadripper 1950x?


    I have a 2013 Mac and it is currently running the latest OS. Yes that's right, a 9 year old computer is supported with the latest operating system. They could have easily pulled all the stops on it to force people to upgrade their hardware like they have done in the past.So why isn't my 5 year old AMD processer not supported by Windows 11? And will it ever be? Is it because they want people to upgrade their hardware? How does that benefit Microsoft?I don't care at this point why it's not supported, I just want to know, will it ever be supported and when?
