Hello everyone. It's been more than a week my laptop can't connect to 5GHz wifi but before it used to do. My phone, tabs, my mother and father's phone sure connects but only my laptop doesn't. All drivers are updated, windows don't have any updates yet and my Windows is Windows 11 Home Single Language 21H2 OS Build 22000.318 and wifi router is TP-LINK Archer C1200 AC1200.

Laptop won't connect to 5GHz wifi network

We've got a NETGEAR extender and my laptop connects fine to the 2.4GHz network (BTHub5-Q5S5_2GEXT) but the 5GHz won't even show up. I know it works as my phone is always connected to it (BTHub5-Q5S5_5GEXT) so it's not the network that's the problem. I've
reset the router many times, reset my laptop but all the basic stuff won't work and I don't know what else I can do.

    Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

I Hope you solve out your query soon.
